The story, in one column

I'm Bakhtiyor. Online — teiior. Born in Tashkent on 13 September 2005 — Programmer's Day. Fifth year shipping code. Head of IT at Bolalar Production since 2026. Three engineers, three products live, and we support the Alla platform.

How I got here

I started by building things nobody asked for — a friend's cafe warehouse, a gym Telegram bot, a half-finished e-commerce backend. In 2020–21 I went through PDP Academy's C++ and Java tracks. Then a year of Zaur Tregulov's Udemy material — Java certification path, SQL, Spring Boot. Two semesters of HarvardX in there too.

2021–2024: independent development, side projects, the occasional contract. Cafe Warehouse System grew out of that. Shipped my first real product to a real customer and learned the hardest part was never the code.

What I do now

The day, mostly, is code review, an architecture sketch, and one 'let's get on a call and figure out why staging is angry.' Three engineers on the team. They grow; I grow with them.

I write more docs than I used to. A good doc is a decision the next engineer doesn't have to take twice. That pushes me to write a little more often than I'd choose to on instinct.

Outside the editor

I read more than I write. Third pass through DDIA — different chapters land each time. Tashkent, home cooking, bad at chess but improving.
